Sales Taxes and a Webinar
Hello All,
In my experience as a small business accountant, the area that drives the most questions relates to taxes. These questions usually fall into two categories: How do I wrap my head around this? and How do I save money?
In my opinion (as you know from this newsletter or being my client), a lot of tax, especially for solopreneurs or small businesses, isn’t as difficult as it seems. While the tax code has become more complicated in recent years, most of these changes target specific areas of interest to the government.
My primary goal has always been to simplify accounting, finance and tax for my clients and customers. I aim to be the kind of accountant who doesn't brush off client questions but instead attempts to explain things in plain language. You know your business better than anyone, and by working together, we can often uncover ways to reduce taxes or improve your overall financial situation.
That brings me to one of the areas I get the most questions about: sales taxes, particularly GST/HST and QST. Many of the business owners who come to me for consultations find it confusing and struggle to find clear answers. Because of this, I’ve decided to host my first-ever webinar on GST/HST and QST, where I will:
Address the most frequently asked questions.
Cover the biggest mistakes people make.
Fill in the gaps in your understanding
Perhaps, most importantly, you will have the opportunity to submit your questions in advance (via the webinar sign-up form), and I’ll answer them during the session. If a question is outside the scope of the webinar, I’ll let you know ahead of time.
You’ll also receive some bonuses, including:
A filing checklist to help you stay organized.
A quick reference guide for future use.
Access to the recording of the webinar. Plus, a money-back guarantee if you're not satisfied.
The webinar will take place on September 25th at 12 PM EST, and the price is $27. However, if you sign up before Wednesday, September 18th, you can register for just $20.
If you have any questions about the webinar, please don’t hesitate to respond to this email. As this is my first event of this kind, I’m still navigating the process, so I appreciate your patience and support!
I’ll be sending a few reminder emails as the date approaches. If you’d prefer not to receive them, just let me know, and I’ll take you off the list.
Hope to see you there!
