About Me

I’m Ronika Khanna, a CPA, CA, and CFA dedicated to making accounting, tax, and finance easier to understand for Canadian small business and self employed owners.

As the founder of Montreal Financial, I focus on education: teaching self employed, freelancers, and small business owners how to confidently manage their finances themselves.

My goal is simple: help you feel less overwhelmed, more informed, and fully in control of your business finances.

Why I Do This Work

Before starting my own business, I built my career working with multinational corporations in Bermuda and serving as Controller for a financial services firm in Montreal.

In those roles, I saw firsthand how crucial clear, reliable financial information is to good decision-making. But I also realized that many small business owners don’t have access to the same resources or support.

For over 15 years, I ran my own practice providing traditional accounting and tax services to small businesses. While that helped them stay compliant, I found the real value was in empowering owners to understand their numbers.

That’s why I now focus on education: so you can confidently manage your finances yourself, make better business decisions, and feel truly in control.
